• Explain what data science is

• Explain the relevance of data science to experimental science, including kinesiology

• Distinguish between front-end and back-end aspects of data science

• Explain the value of teamwork in doing data science

• Explain the value of scientific programming languages and their advantages over manual data analysis workflows

• Demonstrate awareness of a range of languages used in data science, especially in neuromechanics, and explain considerations for choosing a language for a particular task
